Project Details: Pi SQ was appointed as the FF&E consultants along with the professional team, consisting of Player Roberts Bell (architects), Beyond Consulting (project managers & cost consultants), Lindum (main contractors) for the redevelopment of a shopping centre which was transformed into a vibrant skills hub in the centre of Worksop. Flexibility and adaptability was key throughout our discussions with the council because end users would potentially have different requirements, each training room is fitted with flexible furniture where configurations can be easily changed to suit any individual teaching styles. Choosing sustainable products, fabrics and finishes was very important to the project team and so we were able to provide Co2 emission information from our individual manufacturer partners to aid with the internal processes of an innovative local council.

I was introduced to Pi-SQ by Bassetlaw’s external Architectural practice. I had not been involved in the FF&E element of a project before, and I was absolutely delighted to find such a knowledgeable group of people. Not only were they helpful in their explanation of the discipline, it was obvious that they were leaders in their field, with a robust knowledge of the market and a solid working relationship with a variety of suppliers. I was able to visit the various showrooms in London with Hannah Floyd of Pi-SQ, and it could be seen that she was well regarded by the suppliers.

Nothing has been too much trouble and Hannah was able to alleviate any fears I may have had at the onset of the project, she dealt with my many queries efficiently and politely and was always able to resolve potential problems.

I shall be using Pi-SQ on my future projects, and indeed endorse them to my various clients and colleagues. I would not hesitate to recommend Pi-SQ and I would be happy to receive calls/e-mails should anybody wish to discuss the service that I received.
